In-app path (exact UI labels)

1. Open the Profile tab.
2. Tap Account actions to expand the section.
3. Tap Delete my account.
4. Confirm in the modal with Delete My Account.

On success you are signed out immediately.

Subject: NERDO account deletion request

Include (never send a password):

• The email address registered on your NERDO account.
• Your display name / NERDO username if you set one.
• University or university ID linked to the account, if any.
• Any other ownership details that help us verify you (e.g. approximate signup date or a recent subscription) — do not send passwords.

Expected processing time: 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleted: your sign-in account and profile; follows; favourites; notifications and your devices' notification tokens; your ID-card image (also deleted as soon as your verification is reviewed); affiliate/referral data; payout details; upload drafts; every summary you uploaded, with its PDF, audio and sample files. If a file cannot be removed right away, we retry automatically until it is.

Kept without your identity

Kept without your identity: comments and ratings stay as content, shown as "Deleted user" (name, photo and account id removed). Records of subscription payments, creator earnings and payouts (amounts, months, status) are kept for accounting and legal reasons with personal details removed; your account id is replaced by a code. A short deletion record (steps run, counts, a code instead of your identity) is also kept.

Timeframe

In the app, deletion starts as soon as you confirm. If a file cannot be removed right away, we retry automatically. Requests sent by email are handled within 30 days.

Before you delete

Before you delete: if you have an active Premium subscription (or one in its grace period), cancel it in Google Play first; deletion is blocked while it is active. If you are a creator with unpaid earnings, request your payout before deleting; earnings of deleted accounts may not be payable.
